Title: Pilotdrift Snag Opening Spot For Supergrass
Pilotdrift Snag Opening Spot For Supergrass
So how exactly does a quartet from Texarkana, TX hook up with Supergrass? I
guess it helps to have previously toured with the Polyphonic Spree over the past
year, as well as having put out a highly ambitious full-length album that has
received its fair share of critical acclaim. The band is Pilotdrift, who
recently released their debut album Water Sphere on Good Records Recordings.
With comparisons ranging from Radiohead to Andrew Lloyd Webber, it should come
as no surprise that the band caught the ear of Supergrass, who were selected as
the opener for their upcoming North American tour. This will mark Pilotdrift's
first tour in support of Water Sphere, kicking off on February 6 in Toronto.
